Lozier's Summer Pet Photo Contest

Contest Overview
During the dog days of summer, our goal is to keep everyone, including pets, cool and comfortable. If they’re willing to beat the heat, sunny weather also gives homeowners the chance to enjoy plenty of fun outdoor activities with their furry best friends. We’re encouraging Des Moines residents to submit original pet photos that involve a fun summer activity.
Over the next few weeks, you can enter the pet photo contest on the official Lozier Heating and Cooling Facebook page or Twitter profile for a chance to win a $25 gift card to PetSmart and a $25 gift card to Amazon.
Contest Duration
Photos of pets engaging in summer activities will be accepted starting at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1st through Sunday, August 25th, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. The final winners will be chosen Wednesday, August 28th, 2019.
Entry Submission
You can enter by messaging Lozier Heating and Cooling through Facebook or Twitter, tweeting at us, or enter by commenting your picture on one of our social posts. Please provide a short description of the image, such as your pet’s name, where you were or what type of summer activity you were doing. Photo entries can include the pet owner or be an image of just their pet partaking in the fun. Each pet can enter up to 5 photos.
Winner Selection
Lozier’s staff will select four winners on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. The winners will be based on the photo's caption, creativity and quality. Each owner/pet is eligible to win one set of gift cards. There will be four different categories for the type of summer pet activities we’re looking for:
- on a walk or run
- other outdoor or physical activities
- swimming or water activities
- lazy or relaxing summer day

Winner Notification
Contest winners will be announced August 28th via the Lozier Heating and Cooling Facebook and Twitter social platforms. Our team members will reach out and ask the winners to DM their name and address to claim their gift cards. Prizes will be mailed directly to the winners or can be picked up at our office.
Eligibility
The contest is open to Lozier’s social media fans and followers who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. There is no entry fee. The contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration or filing requirements of any state or local jurisdiction have not been complied with. The contest is not open to employees of Lozier Heating and Cooling.
Terms and Conditions
All photos must be the original work of the entrants and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. Lozier reserves the right to remove fan photos from its Facebook page and contest consideration if the content of the photo does not promote the core values of the business.
